Glen Brown
Glen Brown is a man’s man. You can see this manliness demonstrated by his passion for riding his Harley. But his completeness and diversity as a man is also demonstrated by his skills in the kitchen. When it comes to the CFC men’s breakfast, Glen Brown is one of the most faithful within the CFC men’s ministry. At every monthly men’s breakfast you can find Glen lending a hand to make sure that whatever needs to be done to cook the vittles happens. He is right there beside the head cook, Miss Bobbie, all the time, and always responds pleasantly to her “commands”. And on those rare occasions when Miss Bobbie cannot be there to cook, Glen is man enough to take her place.
You might not notice Glen as someone who stands out among the crowd. But if you know Glen, it becomes clear after seeing his demeanor time after time, that he is truly a Godly man. He is always smiling and upbeat. If there is a need, Glen seems to always be one of the first to recognize it and begin helping out. And even on a bad day, or after burning a pan of biscuits, you don’t see him get mad or depressed. Clearly Jesus lives within him.
Hundreds of children over the years have been blessed to experience the character of Glen Brown and the demeanor he exhibits with children on Sunday mornings. Glen and his wife Veronica have been faithful servants in the children’s ministry at Christian Fellowship Church for many, many years. While they have no children of their own, Glen and Veronica have poured love out onto hundreds of other children who need to hear about and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
Glen Brown, you have lived your life as a man of honor. And for that, we thank you.
